WristGlint shows your paired iPhone’s battery on Apple Watch. Here’s how to get connected and keep readings useful.
Requirements
An iPhone running iOS 18 or later, paired with an Apple Watch running watchOS 11 or later. WristGlint needs its iPhone companion; it does not monitor a phone independently.
Get started
- Install WristGlint on your iPhone and its paired Apple Watch.
- Open WristGlint on the iPhone, then open it on the Watch.
- Keep the devices connected. The Watch displays the latest battery reading it has received from the iPhone.
If the Watch app is missing, open Apple’s Watch app on your iPhone, go to My Watch, and check Available Apps for WristGlint.
Add a complication
Touch and hold your watch face, tap Edit, and select a compatible complication slot. Choose WristGlint’s iPhone Battery complication. Available slots and the appearance of the complication depend on your watch face; some faces control the displayed colour.
You can also add WristGlint as a widget in the Watch’s Smart Stack.
A reading looks old or the devices are unavailable
- Check that the iPhone and Watch are connected and not in a mode that disables their connection.
- Open WristGlint on your iPhone so it can read and send the current battery level.
- Open WristGlint on the Watch and tap Refresh.
The complication shows the last reading delivered to it, not a continuous live stream. Apple controls background execution and complication refresh timing. A Watch-app refresh does not guarantee that the watch face redraws immediately.
What do the status indicators mean?
The percentage describes the iPhone, not the Watch. Charging indicators describe the charging state reported with that reading. An older reading or unknown state is marked separately rather than presented as current information.
